“When we first began using the Rosary Quilt method, my unbelieving husband shied away from anything religious. Now, two months later, he is leading our family in the nightly Rosary!” Summary quote from L.M. in CA

The late Great Pope John Paul II challenged us all to find ways of presenting the Rosary to the younger generation so that they will embrace the devotion and make it their own. The Rosary Quilt is one of many options now available for parents and teachers alike to bring this wonderful and necessary prayer into the lives of the children put under our care.

How can this method of praying the Rosary be used?

The Rosary Quilt program:

  • is an excellent homeschooling tool to teach children about the Rosary, the faith and the virtues.
  • creates a lively faith within the family, as a fun and educational tool to foster greater devotion to Our Lady.
  • boosts the First Reconciliation and First Communion PRE classes by encouraging the children to really prepare their hearts for Jesus in the Eucharist.
  • thrives as a family ministry base where families get together for fun and formation, and encourage each other to grow in the virtues.

What is so unique about the Rosary Quilt program?

  • This method was inspired by St. Louis de Montfort’s first method of praying the Rosary, complete with the original virtues he connected with each Mystery.
  • The Manual gives teachers and parents many ideas to instill the virtues attached to each of the 15 Mysteries.
  • The blanket itself helps keep active little ones in place and physically involved with each prayer said.
  • The petals pocket keeps track of the sacrifices and offerings your child makes during the day and encourages them to keep doing more for Our Lord!
  • The method builds upon itself slowly so your child is not overwhelmed with important information all at once.
  • It is a great way to foster family participation in growing in the Catholic faith in a fun, interactive way, yet preserving the reverence of the prayer itself.

What do I need to get started?

While the quilt and the books were ultimately designed to go together, you do not need all 3 items.

Your other choices are:

  • Use the quilt only, for helping to keep your small children still during prayers
  • Use the manual only, to instruct your child on the virtues and how they can be practiced in everyday life
  • Use the workbook along with the manual, to enhance your child’s comprehension and to give him/her a tool to practice evangelizing

The only item that cannot be used on its own is the workbook. The manual has instructions on how to complete each workbook page, and therefore the workbook must be used with the manual.
